[Tech] Print out of test results at the Mentone

Hi,

This will follow up my email of July 2 to the tech list. I just wanted to
give everyone the print out of the terminal output in case I didn't report
everything

Again, the problem is that I can't install any machines in the lobby of the
Mentone Hotel low-income shelter because the Internet service there is too
slow to even download updates when running updates to update the software
list:

$ sudo apt-get update

We are experiencing about 20% to 30% packet loss in the lobby at the
Mentone. I went down into the basement where the ISP, Monkey Brains (MB)
has placed its power over ethernet injector (see website below). The POE
is like a modem for MB. I was on the phone with a MB technician while I
was doing this, so I was not striking out on my own, unguided. I found
that the download speed was good, like 107 Mbit per second, and there was
no packet loss at all. Downstream from the POE injector is a small
Edgerouter, and then a 24 port switch. I was getting packet loss on both
of those devices. The MB tech thought that the problem in the lobby was
probably caused by the Edgerouter or switch because:

Internet > Monkey Brains POE injector (no packet loss) > Edgerouter (packet
loss 18% or so) > 24 port switch (similar packet loss) > lobby (similar
packet loss).

Here is the info on the MB POE injector (I had never heard of a POE injector
 before):

https://www.monkeybrains.net/wireless.html

I compared the Internet service at the Crosby low income hotel to the
service at the Mentone. Both low income shelters are run by ECS. Both
hotels use the same ISP and the wire installation service (Inifitech). In
other words, all the players are the same at both hotels, and so you would
expect identical performance, but the performance at the Crosby is
adequate, but the performance at the Mentone is so bad as to be unusable.
