Hi,

I have successfully installed Lubuntu from Abigail's Lubuntu 12.04 disk on
a machine that I called partimus603309234, which is the name of our org
plus the name of the serial number on the top of the machine. I used
monitor 14, which was donated by David Eisenberg, along with the
partimus603309234 and 14 other machines and monitors (thanks, David!).

I had an issue getting even a bios to appear on two of the other machines
that I looked at. I got no display at all on the other two machines.
David Eisenberg had done some spot checking of these machines when he
acquired them, so I am assuming that it is some operator error on my part,
although Sean Castro was also in here yesterday looking at the machines and
had a similar problem, so not sure what the issue is.

Our primary goal at this point is to make sure that Abigail has a backup
for the machines that are in her lab, so that if a client machine goes
down, Abigail can simply swap out another machine.

I don't know what your password schema is. I chose to call the superuser
"administrator", because I saw that on the machine next to me. I chose
"ascend" as the superuser password. I created a student account, because I
saw that account on a machine next to me. The password for student is
student. The machine's specs are documented on the lab summary google
spreadsheet here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_s0E7w40zs80yZNrVRqupml6jqADKjD9XoJ3uFkhQMw/

If you are on this email and have not been invited to the spreadsheet,
please let me know and I will invite you.

We are still working on a server, so that Abigail will be able to mass
install over the network, and she will have iTalc and other network tools
available to her.

Thanks!
