Those types of authentication are used for websites, like logging in
to blogs with OpenID to leave comments or authentication related to
services like twitter (twitter uses OAuth for 3rd party clients).

The authentication methods we use center around LDAP-based
technologies (we use OpenLDAP, but Microsoft's Active Directory is
also LDAP-based and popular and we may run into it some day if we
haven't already). Both authentication, but very different purposes and
infrastructures :)

Thanks for keeping an eye out though, while a lot of the technologies
related to OpenStack are new and very cloud-specific, there are also
some interesting ones that I'd love to see mature and be applied to
other areas.
