We talked about his availability for this month and the status of the custom CD and how to deploy it in Abigail's Linux lab. He said that he had reached some impasses with regard to the server, and so we are going to need to take a different tack with regard to the server. I will reach out to some others here on the list locally and see if we can move the ball forward that way. I got no display at all on the other two machines. David Eisenberg had done some spot checking of these machines when he acquired them, so I am assuming that it is some operator error on my part, although Sean Castro was also in here yesterday looking at the machines and had a similar problem, so not sure what the issue is.<br clear="all"><div><br></div><div>Our primary goal at this point is to make sure that Abigail has a backup for the machines that are in her lab, so that if a client machine goes down, Abigail can simply swap out another machine.</div><div><br></div><div>I don't know what your password schema is. I chose to call the superuser "administrator", because I saw that on the machine next to me. I chose "ascend" as the superuser password. I created a student account, because I saw that account on a machine next to me. The password for student is student.
