This announcement of a new nonprofit subsidiary of the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation working in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Carnegie Corporation makes me wonder what kind of code they are offering and under what kind of license. The landscape for educational technology is dynamic right now. I hope we can provide viable, sustainable alternative bundles using open technology in the near future.
